Job Description

RECREATION LEADER I:

The City of Seminole is seeking candidates for a part-time twenty-five (25) hours per week position at the city’s Recreation Center. Responsibilities will include assisting with aquatic and fitness programming, marketing, and providing customer service at the front counter.  This position will work directly with the Program Coordinator of Aquatics and Fitness.    The successful candidate will perform planning and leading of fitness and aquatic programs as well as administrative and clerical duties (including computer/cash register work).

The work hours will include evenings and weekends.

The salary range is $12.57/hour to $18.23/hour.  The starting salary for this position is $12.57 per hour.

 

Qualifications

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, and a valid Florida driver’s license. CPR and First Aid certifications must be obtained within six (6) months of employment.  Fitness and/or marketing interest is preferred.
