Job Description

Recreation Leader II:
The City of Seminole is seeking a responsible, professional individual to perform a variety of duties for the city’s active/passive recreational leisure facilities. The duties include organizing, promoting, and supervising senior and adult programming, seasonal camps and youth programs. This is a full-time position working a varied schedule with routine evenings, and weekends.

Starting salary is $15.28/hour. The salary range is $15.28 to $22.15/hour. This position has a competitive benefit package. A background investigation and a drug screen will be conducted on the successful candidate.


This position may be required to supervise Recreation Leader I staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

Requirements:
Associate of Arts or Associate of Science Degree from an accredited college with one year of employment experience in Parks and Recreation, or closely related field; valid Florida driver’s license; Ability to obtain a Class C CDL driver’s license within 6 (six) months of employment. Possession of valid CPR/First Aid certifications.
