Job Summary
Under general supervision, is responsible for assisting Assistant City Attorneys or City Attorney in their course of work by conducting legal research, investigating, and gathering evidence. Prepares ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other legal documents. Exercises no supervision.

Work Hours
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies from an accredited college or university; or Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and certificate of completion in a formal course of paralegal study at an accredited educational institute required.
- One (1) year of experience in paralegal work.
- Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of State and Federal electronic filing systems.
- Knowledge of Civil Rules and procedures of County, District and Federal Court Systems.
- Experience using personal computer, copier, scanner, fax, case management software and other modern business hardware.
