Job Description

The City of Pueblo is experienced candidates to be our Housing Redevelopment Program Manager! In this position, your duties will include managing programs aimed at removing blight, structuring complex real estate finance deals and HUD funded programs, and analyzing capital stacks to support redevelopment. Additionally in this role, you’ll oversee HUD applications, conduct regular site visits, collaborate with economic development, and review project proposals to determine viability.  This grant-funded, term-limited position is currently funded for approximately one (1) year with the potential of extending for an additional two (2) years, subject to receipt of additional funding. This is a full-time position that offers you a variety of benefits and an annual salary range of $84,456.67 - $116,442.96. Apply now through July 1st, 2026. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in community development, redevelopment finance, or real estate project management
  • A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment
    • License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business, such as an interlock, will be cause for disqualification. 
    • During the course of employment, a valid license must be maintained, and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in community development, redevelopment finance, or real estate project management
  • Master’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
