Job Description

The City of Pueblo is seeking qualified candidates to be our next Grants Analyst.   

 

As the Grants Analyst, you’ll perform accounting and analytical functions related to grant contracts awarded to the City of Pueblo. You’ll research Federal and state regulations to ensure the City is compliant with all grant requirements and work with project managers in City departments to identify and understand compliance requirements associated with the grants. Additionally, you’ll prepare grant compliance reporting and reimbursement requests for all City grants received.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field with:
    • At least two (2) years of accounting and/or grant reporting experience

OR

  • An associate degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field with:
    • At least four (4) years of accounting and/or grant reporting experience

AND

  • A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment
    • License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business, such as an interlock, will be cause for disqualification 
    • During the course of employment, a valid license must be maintained, and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license
