Job Description
*ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT FULL-TIME ANNUALLY PAID PARKS EMPLOYEES*
Major Responsibilities
- Under general direction of the Deputy Director of Payroll & Timekeeping, with wide latitude to exercise decision making and independent judgment, perform and oversee difficult work responsibilities for the Payroll unit.
- Directly supervise, train and assist Timekeepers.
- Manage, troubleshoot and train agency staff on the Citytime system.
- Review various reports including the 920,161 and 700 report for accuracy.
- Coordinate and work with District Supervisors and Chiefs to have them submit timesheets on time in Citytime.
- Assign, review, approve and audit work done by Timekeepers.
- Review and approve leave types in Citytime.
- Liaison with HR division, Labor Relations, FISA and the Office of Payroll Administration (OPA) on all payroll and Citytime issues.

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
