As Assistant Supervisor, the prospective candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Special Applications Supervisor;
- Assist the Supervisor in coordinating projects and daily unit operations;
- Support implementation of new laws, policies, and procedures as directed;
- Collaborate with relevant parties to troubleshoot system issues, test system changes, and promote use of online licensing services;
- Monitor team performance, assign and review tasks, provide support across all areas of staff work, and proactively report and resolve issues;
- Process and monitor license applications and related documents received in person, online, and by mail;
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies through regular quality checks and follow-ups;
- Handle routine payment processing and related math calculations;
- Provide high-volume customer service in person, online, and by phone;
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support efficient application processing;
- Provide backup support to Licensing team members as needed;
- Adhere to all division and agency policies and procedures; and
- Complete all assigned licensing tasks.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
