The Communications & Marketing Division is responsible for promoting the Agency’s work through multimedia channels to reach and engage New York City’s diverse communities.
The Community Producer will report to the Digital Communications Director. Duties of the Community Producer will include:
- Develop and produce engaging content, including short- and long-form videos, to inform public on DCWP’s programs and services;
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including but not limited to consumers, workers, consumer and labor rights advocacy groups, and business industry associations to better understand community needs and effective content strategies;
- Attend and record community events and public meetings to cultivate strong relationships and gather public insights to help guide content creation that is culturally relevant and accessible;
- Provide audience-tailored marketing and outreach materials for Agency digital projects, including the Agency’s intranet, website, social media platforms, and multimedia presentations.

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
