Job Description

The City of Americus is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the positions of Customer Service Representative. The beginning salary is $ 28,225.00 annually ($13.57 hourly).

Responsibilities of this position are to provide customer service to City residents, taxpayers, and customers; to collect, receipt and record payments for utility services, taxes, business licenses and other City fees; and to perform related clerical and fiscal duties.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include High School Diploma or GED; birth certificate, supplemented by 2 years of experience performing customer service or fiscal work. Required qualifications may be any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook. Bi-lingual proficiency is a plus.
