The City of Americus is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of a Technical Director. The starting salary for this position is $ 41,701.00 annually ($ 20.05 hourly).

Responsibilities of this position are to perform technical work associated with maintaining the theater and its equipment, to prep the stage and equipment for incoming stage presentations and improve and enhance the operation of equipment as needed.

Requirements include Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with training emphasis in theatrical stage production or a closely related field; supplemented by (2) two years previous experience and/or training that includes stage production management, stage design/setup, stage equipment operations/maintenance, basic supervision, and personal computer operations. Required qualifications may be any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.
