Joining us as a Senior Network Engineer – Access
As our Senior Network Engineer, you will be providing subject matter engineering expertise for CityFibre’s Active Access network components, with a specific focus on Nokia, Calix, and Adtran technologies. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of active network components, ensuring solutions are delivered at pace in a standardized, scalable, supportable, and secure manner.

Some of your other responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering solutions with a focus on Nokia, Calix, and Adtran equipment
- Leading functional teams or projects and serving as a best practice/quality resource
- Serving as an expert within your function, leveraging specialized subject matter expertise in Nokia, Calix, and Adtran technologies
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll bring a specialist depth and breadth of Access Network Engineering at scale. Additionally, you will have:
- Excellent understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, with a focus on GPON/XGS-PON
- Experience with Nokia, Calix, and Adtran equipment in mixed vendor environments, product life cycle, and technology migrations
- Well-developed problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
