How you’ll change it up
This is a Senior Management leadership role responsible for providing commercial support to the Head of Pre-Contracts and overseeing the negotiation and delivery of key contracts that are crucial to CityFibre’s strategic fibre build plans.
Day to day, this is what you can expect to be doing:
- Negotiate construction contracts with our supply chain to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Collaborate closely with the Legal team to draft and finalise key contracts.
- Lead and contribute to major tenders.
- Develop and define contractor strategies and oversee their implementation in designated regions.
- Drive continuous improvement in our approach and related processes, including workflow tools and reporting.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Degree level or substantial experience in a similar role
- Experience in contracting including NEC3 contracts, from preparation through to negotiation and administration
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple cross-functional teams
- Commercially astute and aware with significant experience within a commercial role, ideally with experience in telecoms / FTTP / FTTH infrastructure
- Breadth of experience in supplier engagement; able to build relationships and influence outcomes
