Please note that this is a UK based role, and you must be able to travel to your local office at least twice a week.

How can you change it up?
Joining our Commercial team as the Senior Research & Insight Manager, you’ll own consumer, market and competitor research / insight for the entire organisation, effectively capturing everyone’s requirements to ensure that there is a consistent and cumulative base of knowledge within CityFibre.
This is a crucial role, fundamental to driving growth of more than £5 million through the analysis of consumer behaviours and attitudes that will enable us to evolve our messaging, develop robust and accurate behavioural segmentation to apply across our business. Day to day, these are some of the things you can expect to be doing:
- Owning the consumer, market and competitor research roadmap across the business and working with relevant agency partners to deliver it
- Leading engagement across senior leadership and cross-functionally to understand strategic business questions, translating these into research objectives
- Managing the research budget and leading all relationships with all external agencies
- Managing projects end to end, from brief through to the delivery of high-quality outputs
- Collaborating with our wider data insight team to evolve and extend our segmentation model to predict behaviours, identifying new insight opportunities and leveraging findings to build on understanding our consumers and ISP customers
- Working cross-functionally with data insight, consumer, strategy, and product teams to share insights that may drive, marketing messaging and journeys, campaigns, new product, or service
What will you bring to the role?
You’ll have a research background managing consumer, market and competitor research (ideally in telecoms or consumer electronics) which has delivered business growth, as well as proven experience establishing and growing a customer insight function. Your experience will include behavioural segmentation through to industry benchmarking projects.
You’ll also bring the following with you:
- Project management skills
- Expertise in solving problems and strategic / commercial thinking
- Proven experience of delivering insight which has driven positive business change
- Stakeholder engagement experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
