How can you change it up?

As a Regional Administration Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing the Build Manager with the network designs that will enable them to install city-wide infrastructure. You’ll lead a team of planners, taking complete ownership of the delivery of the active service portfolio, including system and network administration and project management. In addition, you’ll;

  • Champion your team’s wellbeing by offering support and encouraging them to prioritise their own needs

  • Build frameworks to identify network expansion and changes through analytics, automation and direct required adds, all while documenting and enforcing system standards 

  • Develop solutions to maximise network performance by collaborating with Network Architects and Engineers on optimisation 

  • Collaborate with Engineers to manage the active network’s underlying resources

  • Coach, develop and mentor new starters on the team 

  • Drive consistency, quality, suitability and cost effectiveness  

What will you bring to the role?

As a team leader you will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, operating as an expert on all aspects of civil route and fibre planning. You’ll build positive relationships with people from across the business, as well as external stakeholders, and be an inspiring leader to your team. You’ll also have; 

  • Experience with manipulating data and metadata underpinning civil route and fibre design 

  • A detailed understanding of Diversionary works code of practice and its application 

  • Thorough knowledge of GIS systems, and local and national authority regulations 

  • An understanding of lit fibre services

  • The ability to understand and produce detailed survey installation and as-built documentation

Job Description

The Regional Admin Coordinator will be responsible for managing the diary of the Regional Director, providing the Director with day-to-day support as well as supporting wider administration within the South West Regional Team. This role will provide exposure to all areas of our Build operation and help to build a wide range of business skills.

•         Support Regional Build Director on general day-to-day administration tasks

•         Support diary management on behalf of the Director, including arranging regular meetings with senior stakeholders - internal and external

•         Booking accommodation, managing a travel schedule where appropriate allowing for travel time

•         Manage venue bookings and organising the logistics of workshops, site visits and roadshows

•         Organising and diarising meetings with stakeholders, contractors, suppliers - supporting with the management of pre-papers, taking minutes and recording actions.

•         Capture minutes of key meetings where required documenting key decisions and actions, tracking to closure

•         Coordinate and attend weekly/monthly team meetings

•         Raising and tracking purchase orders – keeping our budget spreadsheet up to date

•         Assist with the induction, onboarding, and orientation of team members - ensuring appropriate arrangements are in place for HR, IT, seating, stationery etc.

•         Assist others in the department to ensure efficient and effective administrative practices and resolve administrative and other queries related to the work of the department.

•         Develop and maintain administrative and office systems, databases, and spreadsheets, as required.

•         Supporting with formatting and presentation of documents, including presentation slides, reports and papers.

Qualifications

•   GCSE level or equivalent

•   Clean UK driving licence

•  Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint

•  Ability to organise daily workload by priorities

•  A pro-active and approachable individual
