How can you change it up? 

Our Active Network Engineering function plays a vital role in delivering meaningful, reliable solutions that provide our customers with best-in-class digital infrastructure and superfast broadband. As we continue to deliver our full fibre networks at pace across the UK, we’re looking for a Senior NetDevOps Engineer to use innovative technologies (including machine learning) to automate our technology lifecycle, helping us to maintain efficiency and accuracy as we rapidly scale our network. Leveraging our state-of-the-art test lab, with access to the latest technology and equipment, you will also; 

• Develop our Active network automation and telemetry capabilities, building the tools and solutions to enable data-driven decision making across the business  
• Drive engineering and operational excellence by producing MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) configuration at telco-scale, in a defect-free and efficient way 
• Lead functional teams and projects, acting as a resource for quality and best practice  
• Continue to refine and grow your skills with regular training and development, provided by CityFibre  

What will you bring to the role? 

We’re looking for someone with specialist breadth and depth knowledge of engineering and automation at scale who also has;  

• Exceptional analytical and programming skills  
• A strong understand of WAN/MAN network architecture, technologies and protocols   
• Experience of mixed vendor environments, platform and operational life cycles and overcoming scaling challenges  
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds  
• The drive to challenge conventions, change up the way we do things and transform Britain’s digital infrastructure
