How can you change it up?

As the Mechanical & Engineering manager, you will be responsible for the design, delivery and third line support of CityFibre's M&E Infrastructure including Micro Edge Datacentres, Third Party Colo and Streetside furniture. Day to day, this is what you can expect to be doing:

  • Managing and developing your team of engineers and architects
  • Design of all M&E Infrastructure (FEX’s, FACs and Third Party Colo)
  • Delivery of all M&E Infrastructure
  • Creation of support model and processes for M&E infrastructure
  • Ongoing development of M&E Architecture vision

What will you bring to the role?

Do you enjoy managing and developing people? We’re looking for somebody with strong people management skills to come into this role to support and build our team of engineers and architects. You will need to be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering and maintaining M&E systems, showing experience in managing the performance of delivery and maintenance. You will bring some of the below to CityFibre with you:

  • Design and maintenance of Datacentre M&E technologies
  • Familiarity with micro edge Datacentre concepts
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Ideally achievement or material progress towards IEng or CEng registration
