How can you change it up? 

Our Active Network Engineering function plays a vital role in delivering meaningful, reliable solutions that provide our customers with best-in-class digital infrastructure and superfast broadband. As we continue to deliver our full-fibre networks at pace across the UK, we’re looking for a NetDevOps Engineer to innovative technologies (including machine learning)to automate across our technology lifecycle, helping us to maintain efficiency and accuracy as we rapidly scale our network. Leveraging our state-of-the-art test lab, with access to the latest technology and equipment, you will also; 

  • Develop our Active network automation and telemetry capabilities, building the tools and solutions to enable data-driven decision making across the business  
  • Produce MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) configuration at telco-scale, in a defect-free and efficient way 
  • Interpret internal and external business requirements to develop the best solutions
  • Continue to refine and grow your skills with regular training and development

What will you bring to the role? 

We’re looking for someone with technical knowledge of engineering and automation as well as someone who also has;  

  • Strong analytical and programming skills  
  • A good understanding of WAN/MAN network architecture, technologies and protocols   
  • Experience of mixed vendor environments, platform and operational life cycles 
  • The drive to change up the way we do things and transform Britain’s digital infrastructure  

Our tech stack includes: Ansible, Python, NETCONF, YANG, REST API
