We’re excited to be launching a new Hospital to Home service in Blantyre, supporting people as they leave hospital and return to the comfort and independence of their own homes.

We’re looking for caring, reliable people to join our team and help make that transition as safe, comfortable and reassuring as possible.

With set shift patterns and the opportunity for up to 30 guaranteed hours per week, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within your local community.

What you'll do

As a Hospital to Home Care Assistant, you’ll support people following their discharge from hospital, helping them settle safely back into their own homes and regain their independence.

You will:

• Support people to remain safe and independent at home
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect
• Assist with medication, mobility and mealtimes
• Offer companionship and reassurance following a hospital stay
• Help people rebuild their confidence and daily routines
• Work closely with your local team to provide reliable, person-centred care

What we're looking for

No previous care experience? No problem. Full training and support will be provided.

• Naturally caring, compassionate and patient
• Reliable and committed
• Comfortable supporting people in their own homes
• Keen to learn and develop within care
• Able to work either 7am–3pm or 3pm–10pm shifts
