We are currently recruiting for compassionate Care Assistants to join our team at Bristol Court, a beautiful, purpose-built Extra Care housing scheme. The scheme features 94 self-contained flats for adults with physical disabilities, dementia, and learning disabilities.

🕒 Flexible Shift Patterns (Full-Time Hours Available!) While this is a flexible zero-hour contract that allows you to work around your lifestyle, we have full-time hours readily available for those who want them! We offer consistent, reliable work across 7 days a week:
- ☀️ Day shifts: 8:00am/9:00am – 2:00pm/3:00pm
- 🌇 Evening shifts: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
- 🌙 Sleep-in / Waking Nights: 9:00pm – 7:00am
Job Description
💙 Your Role as a Care Assistant You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, mental health conditions, and challenging behaviours. No two days are the same! Your responsibilities will include:
- 🤝 Companionship – providing a listening ear, conversations, and emotional support.
- 💧 Personal Care – assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming with the utmost dignity.
- 💊 Medication Management – safe administration and reminders as per care plans.
- 🍲 Nutrition & Mealtimes – cooking nutritious meals and monitoring dietary needs.
- 🏡 Housekeeping – light cleaning, laundry, shopping, and running errands.
- 🚶 Mobility Assistance – safe transfers, walking support, and the use of aids.
- 🌍 Social Inclusion – encouraging hobbies, interests, and maintaining family connections.
- 📝 Documentation – keeping accurate records and communicating with families and professionals.
- 🛡️ Safety – observing health changes and acting quickly to keep environments safe.
Qualifications
