Job Description

Essential functions of the 1054 Delivery of Care Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Data retention- Coordinates with larger project teams on data that must be preserved due to regulatory or clinical needs; coordinates communication with vendor and project team; receives, reviews, analyzes, and turns-around extracted data; assists with data preservation into agreed upon repository (OnBase, Harmony, etc.); participates in testing; creates project documentation.
  • Application ownership – Acts as primary point of contact for all application-related issues, such as coordinating issue resolution with vendors, communicating status updates with the business unit and IT partners; acts as support person for DPH IT-wide patching events which includes coordination with vendor, business, and systems; acts as liaison between application team, EPIC implementation team and vendor; monitors and responds to ServiceNow service desk queue for assigned applications.
  • Provides analysis and technical support for highly complex systems; troubleshoots systems' problems; implements solutions.
  • Coordinates efforts of analysts, engineers, and operators in implementation of projects spanning multiple systems and sites; multiple platforms.   

The 1054 Delivery of Care Analyst performs other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications

1. Education: An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field]; AND

2. Experience: Five (5) years of experience in the information systems field, including system analysis, business process design, development and implementation of business application solutions or IT project management.

Substitution: Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.

  • Experience as an Application owner with any of the following: 
    • M-Modal Fluency Direct
    • M-Modal Fluency for Transcription Manager, Fluency Voice Manager, and Fluency Editor
    • Provation MD
    • Philips Guardian  
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record experience.
  • ServiceNow experience to include ownership of Configuration Management Database (CMBD) entry creation/maintenance; Knowledge Base article creation/maintenance; management of incidents, tasks, requests, etc. for owned applications.
