My client is a market leader in engineering technology. They have production/sales centres in over 30 countries worldwide, with a particular focus on expanding into the emerging markets.

There is over 35 auditors in the group, most of which are based out of the Swiss office. All auditors have responsibility to perform financial and operational audits, and ITGC reviews. Consequently, this function can offer the right candidate exceptional opportunities to broaden their skills in multiple areas. Due to the quality of the personnel who move on out of the team into the business on a 3 yearly rotation, many find themselves in CFO positions of various subsidiaries of the group.

Successful candidates typically come from a Big Four background, with at least 2 years of Internal Audit experience. They should have been involved in a broad scope of audits. CIA and CISA qualifications are desirable. Fluency in English is the only language prerequisite, but German and/or Spanish would be highly desirable.

The role required a high degree of travel - up to 75%. An exceptional remuneration package is on offer.
