·       Perform site surveys of various commercial buildings around the country.  Surveys will document as-built electrical conditions, equipment, and technical information for use in electrical engineering arc flash analysis and safety evaluations.

·       Sketch basic one-line diagrams to document electrical system configuration

·       Plan and coordinate survey work with client building managers and office engineering teams

·       Organize collected data for easy use and understanding

Efficiently manage resources and tasks to ensure each survey is completed timely and within budget

Ability to travel to project locations throughout the United States for 12 to 18 months

·       Must have basic knowledge of electrical distribution equipment such as commercial panelboards, transformers, and circuit breakers

·       Must have knowledge and experience with general electrical safety requirements and best practices

·       Capable of traveling for several weeks/months at a time to various locations in the United States

·       Capable of recording and organizing accurate and detailed information during visual inspection of electrical equipment

·       Willingness to learn new software

Ability to clearly communicate both in speech and written formats

Proficient in Excel, Microsoft, Email, and using Surface Tablet

·       2 to 5 years of electrical and general construction experience

·       Licensed electrician is preferred, but not required

·       Familiarity with arc flash studies and NFPA 70E is desirable

·       Ability to safely work in occupied commercial buildings without interrupting building activities or personnel

·       Travel up to 90%

·       Good driving record

 Preferred Education:

·       High school diploma or GED is required

·       Education from technical or trade school is desirable
