Job Description

This position will support a Federal Government client. The Operations Analyst Role will work on special projects in small teams (2-10 people) supporting the client operations organization. Tasks include systems analysis, process analysis and optimization, and general operations support. The Analyst will participate in the technical troubleshooting of operational issues to drive towards root cause identification and resolution as well as assisting technical specialists in performing needs analysis to define opportunities for new or improved operations practices.  The ideal candidate is someone who has some operations experience, is a fast learner, a good communicator, smart, and can operate in a quickly changing environment. This position will give you the opportunity to learn and grow as an IT professional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar degree

• Experience providing Operational Support

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Basic understanding of software development processes including requirements gathering and testing
• Basic understanding of Agile software development is a plus
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong computer skills with high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments with quick deadlines
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to collaborate with technical personnel at different levels of the organization
• Ability to perform technical analysis and provide technical resolutions/support
• Ability to engage highly technical clients to identify and define actionable tasks
• 1-5 years of relevant experience

• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to acquire a Public Trust Clearance (Minimum Background Investigation) and/or Green Card holder with 10 years proof of residency
