Job Description

  • Scope of responsibilities includes: analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of software engineering and demonstrated ability to independently work on complex assignments.
  • Designs systems and programs to meet complex business needs.
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.
  • Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments within program code and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related discipline.

Required technical skills:

  • 10-15 years of Java development experience
  • WebLogic
  • Spring MVC
  • SQL
  • JavaScript
  • MBI within the last 5 years

Nice to Have:

  • Hibernate
  • Bootstrap
  • Microsoft SQL Server (Wintel environment)
  • Microsoft Windows Server OS and Office Suite
  • Web Services
  • XML
  • IBM Rational Tools
  • Business Objects Enterprise
  • Understanding of standard SDLC process and Agile/Scrum methodology 
  • Rational Clear Case
