Job Description

We're looking for a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative to join our team in a remote position, available to candidates anywhere in the United States. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to build a strong pipeline for our sales team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resilient, and passionate about building relationships while consistently meeting and exceeding targets.

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social media to identify and engage potential customers
  • Qualify leads based on company criteria and sales methodologies to ensure quality handoffs to the sales team
  • Research prospects and companies to personalize outreach and demonstrate product knowledge and value
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to generate interest and schedule discovery calls
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and refine messaging and positioning
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics such as call volume, conversion rates, and pipeline generation to optimize performance
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development to stay current with sales techniques and product offerings

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience in sales development, inside sales, or similar customer-facing sales role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
  • Resilience and persistence in handling rejection and maintaining motivation

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Familiarity with B2B sales processes and sales methodologies (MEDDIC, BANT, or similar frameworks)
  • Experience with sales engagement and productivity tools
  • Track record of consistently exceeding lead generation or sales targets
  • Knowledge of the software, SaaS, or technology industry
  • Experience with social selling and LinkedIn prospecting techniques
