Job Description
The Opportunity
Cint is searching for a Staff Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role as our products grow and evolve. You will be a technical lead who partners with leadership to drive best practices and the evolution of our products at Cint. This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to impact technical decisions as a leader, support teams as a mentor and coach, and retain the ability to individually contribute to code and architecture.

You’ll be responsible for critical parts of our system architecture and will constantly think about how to improve them.
What You Will Do
Develop high-quality code, establish development standards, and practice by example.
Create and document architectures for Cint’s product suites
Contribute and establish engineering standards, and drive design reviews and RFCs across distributed teams and with peers across the org
Contribute to architecture roadmap and technical solutions for new and existing functionality by extensively collaborating with other principal engineers.
Provide guidance and support across Distributed teams across EU, North and South America
Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to analyze and suggest solutions based on requirements.
Identify and document non-functional and technical requirements (architectural enablers). Advocate for their value and negotiate with Product Management to prioritize architectural work.
Investigate technical options and build proof of concept examples to evaluate technologies. Participate in build versus buy analysis.
Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members to ensure the team's success. Review engineers' work and make observations.
Qualifications
10+ years of software development experience building SaaS platforms at scale
Experience designing and building APIs, Services, and Big Data pipelines
Experience in working with event-driven microservices.
Expertise in Java, Golang, Python, or similar programming languages.
Experience in developing serverless applications in a cloud environment, preferably Aws.
Proficiency in adopting Cloud native solutions like Kubernetes/Docker
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Background in working with agile and iterative processes and practices like Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, DDD as well as DevOps and CI/CD.
Experience in writing effective unit and integration tests.
Nice to have: Prior experience in building programmatic exchanges, marketplaces
Nice to have: Prior experience in evolving/sunsetting legacy architectures and Platform consolidation.
