The Opportunity

Cint is looking to raise the bar on engineering standards as well as user experiences. We offer a smaller company atmosphere, allowing for a large impact by every member of engineering. We’re seeking a Contributor Frontend Engineer to join our UI Engineering team. This team is focused on providing frontend solutions to multiple projects and tooling to the whole company. We build rich JavaScript-based applications built on modern technologies like Node.js, React, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs

What You Will Do 

As an IC2 contributor, you are passionate about learning about tech, product, design, and user experience. You have a collaborative mindset backed by excellent communication skills. You’re user-focused and love building great products.

You have a team-first mentality and work collaboratively.

• Collaborate with Product and API teams to deliver amazing user interfaces for multiple products
• Collaborate with the User Experience and Design team to develop user stories, refine user experience
• Implement interfaces and component

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of software engineering experience building web applications using React
• Solid CSS knowledge
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience or familiarity with at least one of the following: unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing
• High level of autonomy with strong collaboration skills
• A healthy sense of urgency, with an ability to drive towards delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points If You Have

• Familiarity with common design tools such as Figma and Storybook
• Accessibility: WCAG 2.0 AA and AAA
• Familiarity with NextJS
• Experience building mobile web apps or responsive/adaptive design apps.
• Experience using an internal design system
• Familiarity or experience on the following Web APIs/Features: 
  • Microinteractions, CSS or Web Animations API, second best: transitions/framerjs 
  • Running Functions on the EDGE 
  • Workbox/Service Workers 
  • Gaming background 
  • Push API 
  • Notifications API
