The Opportunity 

In the Senior Accountant role within our global Finance team you will play a critical role overseeing the accounting for entities within EMEA. Compliance, accounting accuracy and continuous improvements and automatization will be your focus areas.

To succeed in this role you need to be a highly motivated person with a strong feeling of the urgency of succeeding as a team. You will report directly to our Group Accounting Manager in Sweden.

What You Will Do

• Manage and overseeing month-end closing for the entities within your responsibility.
• Know-your-numbers and work together with our FP&A team to support the business with proactiveness and high quality analyses
• Ensure accurate Tax and VAT reporting together with our Tax Team
• Manage and drive compliance and statutory reporting and be responsible for the external audit process
• Work together with the other teams within finance to ensure process improvement, system development and always strive to improve
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations, fixed assets register and accruals
• Perform full balance sheet reconciliations

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Previous accounting experience with full ownership of month-end closing required
• Experience from working with compliance, audits and statutory filings
• Team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail and an intense desire to automate and streamline and improve manual processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of enterprise accounting software (We use Netsuite)
• Excellent Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, Xlookups, macros, etc.).
