Job Description

Pay Rate: Negotiable 

The Salesforce Technical Lead/ Senior Developer will be responsible for all technical aspects involved in delivering salesforce projects—primarily custom code development (Visualforce and Apex) but also any other related technical items such as communities and integrations with external applications and date. The technical lead is expected to have extensive experience in software development, including, but not limited to, Salesforce technologies such as Visualforce, Lightning component and Apex. As the Technical Lead/ Senior Developer, this position will be expected to split their time with approximately 60% dedicated to development work and 40% spent coordinating the salesforce development teams effort. The Lead will be responsible for documenting the technical requirements and design and manage developers throughout the development, testing and support phases.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of project
  • Manage the development and deployment of new demands, and/or enhancements to existing applications
  • Gather system requirements, conduct analysis, coordinate the design of solutions and establish metric for success
  • Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
  • Provide detail design and documentation of each component of the solution such as data migration, integration and custom development
  • Coordinate the onshore and offshore teams in support of development activities
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality, timely, and thorough solutions to customer problems
  • Determine the scope and corresponding effort estimates for all development
  • Work closely with business partners to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce
  • Create and maintain development and integration plans

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Salesforce/ Force.com custom development using Visualforce and Apex
  • Experience with Partner or Communities Portals Preferred
  • Broader programming technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, jQuery, SOAP, AJAX, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of ETL tools such as Information and DataPower
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly
  • Strong communication skills

 

Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certification (Advanced Developer or Platform Developer 1 preferred)
  • Salesforce Certification: Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud is a plus
  • Marketing Cloud experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or closely related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of technical team leadership experience
  • 5+ years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management
