• Read RFPs and/or make initial site visit to document the scope of work
• Produce quality take-offs from drawings and/or notes from site visit
• Recommend construction materials, means and methods
• Produce finished proposal for presentation to prospective clients
• Prepare construction schedules, Bill of Materials and source unique materials
• Communicate with Superintendent and/or Foreman at the job site
• Work with Project Coordinator to document job progress and maintain job files

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction industry with a proven record of following a project from start to finish
• Experience in commercial electrical work is a plus
• Bachelor of Science (Construction Engineering or Construction Management) preferred or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge and comprehension of architectural drawings, working drawings and specifications
• Minimum competency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with computer take-off and plan programs preferred
• Possess analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Must be self-directed yet able to work as a member of our team
• Possess valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites
