Needs to have  experience  gaining prior authorizations from insurance companies for specific drugs

Heavy Prior Authorization experience with at least 1 year of Specialty Prior Authorizations’ and Handling claims rejections.

ü  1 to 3 years’ experience with working Prior Authorization’s (Knowing what forms to use and completing them, knowing when to use a portal, knowing when to call a plan to complete a verbal request, etc.)

ü  1 to 3 years’ experience with understanding pharmacy claim rejections – knowing what each rejection truly means, knows the difference between a Plan Limit Exceeded rejection and a Cost Exceeds Max rejection and what steps are required for each

ü  I am looking for working knowledge and experience with performing the steps necessary to submit PA’s for review/consideration (Require experience be with a non-insurance owned pharmacy.)
