Description:
-Procures goods and services or the organization including rolling stock, construction, maintenance services. Transit commodity, transit-related professional services, and specialty contracts.
-Procurement duties include solicitation management, award, administration and close out of contracts in compliance with the state of Florida.

Duties:
-Oversees the procurement activities assigned by the Director of Procurement
-Issues and develops solicitation documents
-Meet with end-user customers to initiate project procurement planning
-Prepares addenda after receiving questions
-Develop and maintain contract files
-Conducts negotiations and solicits Best and Final Offers BAFO’s

Requirements:
-Must have experience with procurement methods such as Qualification Based, Request for Proposals, Invitation to Bid
-Government procurement experience
-Very comfortable and experienced with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel Primarily)

Preferred skills:
-RFP, IFBs and that process experience (Request for Proposal and Invitation for Bid)
-Government transit procurement experience
-Knowledge/Experience in federal transit Administration (FTA) regulations
-Procurement Certifications

*Prior RFP experience required 

$20 to $25 per hour

Location: Downtown Orlando Area

6-month Contract position
