Job Description
The Maintenance Technician Two (MT-2) is responsible for completing service requests, handling preventive maintenance and repairs in the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and handyman trades, as well as on various fitness equipment including but not limited to Matrix, Precor, Life fitness, and premium amenities like Hydromassage beds compression chairs and tanning booths. Your work at Chuze Fitness is important to the overall success of the brand and the fitness goals of our members.

- Work within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive, create, monitor, and complete WOs for self-performing duties and outsourced contractor services
- Perform routine inspection (rounds) of the facility, identifying repair/service needs and maintaining the club's Maintenance Log
- Able to meet assigned task deadlines
- Assist in performing reactive repairs and preventative maintenance of fitness and facilities equipment
- Communicate with the facilities team and operations personnel daily to manage and balance both our customer-facing systems and the infrastructure that is as equally important but not as obvious
- Connecting with members while on the floor to help maximize their club experience
- Travel between clubs to service multiple facilities may be required
Administrative
- Attend routine maintenance meetings
- Updating service requests regularly through CMMS
- Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies
- Clock in and out accurately
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- High school graduate or GED (Minimum)

- Work within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive, create, monitor, and complete Work Orders for self-performing duties and outsourced contractor services.
- Timely completion of all assigned tasks
- Assist in performing reactive repairs and preventative maintenance of fitness and facilities equipment
- Ability to work both in a stationary maintenance environment and a service team environment
- Communicate with the facilities team and operations personnel daily to manage and balance both our
- customer-facing systems and the infrastructure that is as equally important but not as obvious
- Perform routine inspections of the properties (rounds) and complete documentation
- Use and understanding of BMS / EMS control systems a plus
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Able to read, write and speak clearly
- Daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time, and moving for prolonged periods of time
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Frequently moving fitness equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds
- Regularly exposed to pool chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease/oil from cardiovascular equipment
- Use of a ladder and roof access
Physical Requirements:
