$28 - $32 / hour

The Building Technician Level III (MT3) is responsible for completing service requests, handling preventative maintenance and repairs to the physical building as well as fitness equipment.  The successful candidate will have a background in commercial building trades and or building engineer. 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform reactive and preventive work on fitness and facilities equipment.
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical, mechanical and plumbing related issues.
• Work within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive, create, monitor, and complete work orders, run reports, and maintain deadlines.
• Work both in a stationary maintenance environment and a service team environment, addressing issues at multiple properties withing a defined market.
• Communicate with the facilities team and across departments daily to manage and balance our customer-facing systems.
• Review and manage work assigned to third party contractors.
• Use and understanding of Building Management systems (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS).
• Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings.

Administrative

• Attend routine maintenance meetings
• Review of contractor pricing
• Updating service requests regularly through CMMS
• Review of property operations via a Building Management System
• Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies
• Clock in and out accurately
•  Working within budget guidelines

Ideally you will have:

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• 7 years of experience in a Mechanical, electrical or plumbing trade (Required)
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC (A Plus)
• Strong work ethic and sense of ownership for the properties they are responsible for.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between properties as needed with little or no prior notice.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to read, write and speak clearly
• Bending, sitting, standing, use of ladders, roof access required
• Standing for long periods
• Computer operations
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
