Chubb now has an exciting opportunity for an accredited (IFE or IFSM) Fire Risk Assessment Manager / Validation Manager to join our dedicated Fire Consultancy division on a full time, permanent and remote working basis.

This is a Remote / Home based opportunity, however travel throughout the UK will be required.

Job Description

What Will I Be Doing As a Fire Risk Assessment Manager?

The main goal of this role is to create and maintain quality procedures in order to pave the way to achieving and maintaining SP205 accreditation, along with ensuring that the department maintains an excellent reputation for quality delivery to the end user.

  • Create and maintain quality procedures in order to pave the way to achieving and maintaining SP205 accreditation.
  • Recruit Risk Assessors and validate capabilities.
  • Mentor new Risk Assessors in the field, to ensure that all competencies are reached, in order to fulfil the FRA role.
  • Review and maintain related Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) documentation and web-based content.
  • Provide technical FRA support to the whole team
  • Action any customer queries in relation to technical aspects
  • Manage the competency matrix for Assessors in relation to qualifications and ability
  • Technical validating of FRA reports and calculation checks on occupancy reports
  • Provide support & guidance to the wider team of Assessors.
  • Build strong, credible relationships both with internal & external customers in person and via media/telephone chanels

Qualifications

What We Would Like You To Bring

To be considered for this position you will hold accreditations with IFE or IFSM and direct, extensive demonstratable experience in completing Fire Risk Assessments

  • You will be up to date with fire legislation
  • Be able to support us in paving the way to achieving an SP205 accreditation
  • Previous experience of recruiting and interviewing
  • Be a strong Administrator
  • Able to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Be used to working on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Hold a current UK driving licence

SALARY: c. £50,000 + Company Vehicle or Car Allowance
