Chubb now has an opportunity for a Design Engineer in Blackburn (hybrid). The main goal of this role is to ensure the system designs are produced to a high quality and within the required budget and timescale. This role is based out of Blackburn, however hybrid working is on offer.

• Our Design Engineer typically earn upto than £40K per annum in a hybrid setting

What you'll be doing

System design of large scale integrated electronic security systems (PIDS, CCTV, EAC, IDS, and audio systems)

·       Design responsibility throughout the project life.

·       Preparation of technical documentation and drawings.

·       Ensure compliance with technical specifications.

·       Specification of equipment.

Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:

• Minimum of a degree or HND in a suitable discipline.
• Design in engineering environment (Electrical, Control and Instrumentation).
• Relevant technical design experience and the preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
• Minimum five years’ experience in the design of large scale integrated electronic security systems.
• Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office software (must include Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Full UK driving license.
