Chubb now has an opportunity for an experienced Proposal Writer to join our Proposals team in Blackburn. The main goal of this role is the accurate and creative development of outstanding sales proposals. You will include exceptional aesthetics, compelling and comprehensive written narratives, accurate commercial elements and detailed engineering & technical information. Our proposals act as our voice to the market and are critical in the decision-making process of our clients. They make us stand out from our competition.

• Register and manage the customer tender portals
• Respond to customer queries prior to and during the proposal process
• Identify, analyse and complete formal Supplier Questionnaires and Approved Supplier Profiles, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and tender bid responses for both commercial and public sectors
• Provide a robust initial review of the documentation to the relevant business proposal leader and coordinate with internal subject matter specialists (technical, legal, sales) to ensure we understand the requirements
• Design and develop stunning proposal presentation documentation, using slide decks, white papers, InDesign, etc.

• Ideally have prior experience of proposal / tender coordination and proposal writing
• You may have worked in sales or marketing and possess a thorough understanding of the tender process ideally for both the commercial and public sector
• Have strong time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence
