Job Description

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of developing and closing daily sales.  Duties require adherence to established quoting and sales order processes, as well as continuous refinement of processes through CPEx projects, to increase the efficiency and accuracy of RFQ’s, as well as the clarity and quality of presentation to customers. In addition to daily customer contact, the Inside Sales Account Manager interfaces with a variety of Chromalloy personnel including the Strategic Business Unit-Global Sales, Product Lines, Warehouse Operations, Finance, and Quality Control/Assurance.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Adherence to and refinement of all RFQ and Sales processes.
  • Develops and executes the account sales strategy as well as develops new business within the assign accounts to meet all sales goals for Chromalloy Material Solutions.
  • Administration and prioritization of RFQs to provide complete, high quality, competitive quotes to internal and external customers.
  • Data entry to include sales orders, quotes, and competitive price information.
  • Daily customer contact to support resolution of any customer complaints.
  • Routine validation of pricing tools using actual historical performance data.
  • Documentation, communication and review of expected sales opportunities and forecasts with AMS leadership.
  • Customer assistance to source and fill each order through brokering or inventory expediting.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. 12 Months or more experience in a Sales, Purchasing, Sales Support role, or quoting role, or a combination of these roles. Degree in Business, Aviation Management or related field is preferred.  The Inside Sales Account Manager must demonstrate a working knowledge aircraft engine models, product lines, as well as, a superior ability to positively relate to and communicate with both internal and external customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) is required and a working knowledge of ERP systems (Quantum). Able to travel when required (10%-15%)
