Job Description

Summary:  The Engine build lead role is part of the Aircraft and Engine Asset Management team. This position is responsible to identify, evaluate and maintain Chromalloy Engine Assets.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain key relationships within MRO shops and customers.
  • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that all projects are profitable. This includes contract and contract renewals, developing customer solutions / sales proposals and maximizing use of Salesforce.com to keep the organization informed.
  • Manage engine parts supply chain to support the need of the Shop visits.
  • Manage costs of maintenance and optimize Chromalloy’s profits.
  • Understand and support the records team in the workscoping and records activities.

Challenges:

  • This is a challenging position between the MRO partners and the customers that requires to understand the engine build process and the technical aspect of it.
  • Understanding of the engine MRO market is mandatory.

Qualifications

Education:    Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:       10+ years of progressive experience with any combination of IAE V2500, CFMI CFM56-5B/7B, or G.E. CF6-80C2 aircraft engines and engine maintenance.

      Skills:              

  • Demonstrated industry and product experience including industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in maintenance, sales, market sourcing, pricing, repair management and engine inventory management.
  • Requires the ability to motivate and influence others at various levels both internal and external.
  • Must demonstrate an effective communication skill/style to present ideas in a compelling and comprehensive manner.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and awareness
  • Good computer experience using MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office products.

Must be able to travel up to 15%
