Chromalloy has expanded from a gas turbine parts repair business into an OEM supplier of production parts and advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in aviation and power applications. Chromalloy serves the airline, military, marine and energy segments with a broad range of services at locations around the globe.

Chromalloy San Diego is a FAA Repair Station which requires employees to be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).

This position requires the incumbent to possess a variety of basic manufacturing skills and abilities to assemble, fabricate and repair FAA components by utilizing various hand tools and equipment. 

• The essential functions of this position are:
• Read and understand planning documents
• Learn and perform basic manufacturing tasks and activities
• Use equipment and hand tools to manufacture component parts to specifications
  • Tools include: Sandblasters, masking, use of hand-held motors, belt and wire wheel sanders
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Work to close tolerances

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environment (preferred)
• Good reading comprehension skills (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Pay Range: $32,800-$49,200/year
