Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible to support to any production area such as:  grit blast, grinding, belt sand, chisel, tact weld, braze, cleaning and other duties, as required. 

The essential functions of this position are:

  • Repair and fabrication of gas turbine engine parts and tools by sanding, grit blasting, deburring ends of sheared or sawed stock, blending and routing welds, removing honeycombs, brazing and cleaning parts.   
  • Maintain accurate documentation on travelers and record, uses gauges and tools to determine specified tolerances are maintained and observe all Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures.  
  • Able to comprehend, interpret and follow instructions, both written and oral.
  • Ability and willingness to increase and expand skill set within the facility, multi-skill and move to other areas of operation to support business goals and objectives
  • Able to comprehend, interpret and follow instructions, both written and oral.

Understand and adhere to all Quality, Health and Safety requirements

Qualifications

Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment.

High School diploma, or equivalent.

Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident per FAA requirements.
