Job Description

The Enterprise System Administrator is a critical role in our organization. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is motivated to participate in an organization’s global Epicor ERP and promote standardization and process throughout the enterprise.

We are looking for an individual who has the technical skills and intellectual capability to lead through this change and has the drive and desire to grow with a business.

Primary Accountabilities:

The Enterprise System Administrator is a Technical position, which is focused on the administration and support of the Epicor ERP system working collaboratively with all business units.  They will be focused on increasing the system performance, implementation of customizations and solutions and keeper of the production environment.

Daily activities include:

  • Management and Administration of Epicor ERP system
  • Test and troubleshoot system changes
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Work with team members, business analyst, developers and stakeholders to intake requirements and develop solutions against them
  • Create custom dashboards with BAQ & BPMs
  • Develop changes to the system into new process and procedures
  • Integration and interfacing of modules within Epicor and for 3rd party systems
  • Prepare and plan for upgrades and enhancements, including testing plans
  • Development and testing for customizations during system upgrades and enhancements
  • Support end users by troubleshooting error messages and training users on more efficient processes
  • Work with Epicor ERP vendor support for unresolved issues or bugs
  • Create cases with Epicor ERP vendor support

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
  • 8+ years of Epicor administration experience
  • 4+ years of experience with BAQ, BPM and DMT
  • 4+ years of experience SQL database maintenance for Epicor ERP
  • 4+ years of experience with SSRS reporting, including administration and report design
  • Experience with Epicor 10 or above (planning to upgrade to Kinetic in 2022)
  • Excellent analytical, planning, project management, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of product life cycle, tools, processes and operations planning.
  • Excellent customer service capabilities and attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while interfacing with multiple departments, including Finance, Production, Engineering, QA and HR
  • Must be able to travel as needed, sometimes as much as 25%
