Job Description

Position Title: HRIS Analyst

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: HRIS Manager

 

Summary Description of this Position:

The HRIS Analyst must be dedicated, industrious and committed to accuracy in all transactions. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the management of all day to day HR system administration, file management (external/internal), consultation, development and hands-on functional support necessary to improve HRIS services and will provide user support to the HR and finance teams.  Creates and maintains standardized documentation for policies, procedures, system training and disaster recovery plan. The current HRIS system is ADP with the following modules-:  EV5, eTime, HWSE and Report Writer. Design curriculum and deliver training to HR and field for new features, reporting and upgrades to HRMS and all other ancillary HR systems.

 

Essential Functions of this Position:

·       Develop and manage procedures to ensure the integrity of all HRIS data, complex reporting, and application maintenance

·       Monitors interface programs that exchange data among all systems to ensure timely and accurate pay, benefits and reporting

·       Partners with vendors to successfully implement new HR systems, install new features and upgrades, troubleshoot and resolve system issues

·       Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget

·       Subject Matter Expert for configuration, functionality and workflow of HR systems

·       Responsible for developing a security administration process including user initiation, maintenance and password resets

·       Ensure database integrity through standardization and synchronization of data elements 

·       Utilizes in-depth knowledge of system workflow and architecture to make appropriate recommendations to management for system enhancements and process improvement 

·       Create, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs

·       Respond to client inquiries on a timely basis and ensure resolution to system issues; escalate complex issues to vendors as appropriate for resolution

·       Recommend and deliver user training based upon analysis of inquiries

·       Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars and utilizing appropriate reference materials

·       Establish Service Level Agreements for the Business Units and regular reporting of Key Performance Indicators

·       Audit and align the current system set up with organizational policy and contract requirements; and

·       Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

·  4 - 6 years of experience in HRIS technology with at least 1 year of experience with ADP Enterprise (EV5) HRIS/Benefits/Payroll system including Report Writer along with excellent project management skills

·  Strong background in business process analysis and project management with responsibility for completion of HR systems projects

· Strong understanding of all HR functional service processes (employment, benefits, payroll, training and development, position management, employee relations, compensation & classifications, and affirmative action)

·  Strong background in report development and layout

·  Strong skills in a PC environment (MS Project, Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); able to utilize tools to analyze and manipulate data, create pivot tables, databases and spreadsheets to support processes

·  Strong organizational and time management skills, effectively managing work flow and ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines

· Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a succinct, organized manner

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and changing demands while being responsive to end user needs and meeting deadlines

· Extremely detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and collaborative work style and ability to develop effective working relationships and demonstrated commitment to be a team player along with capacity to adapt to changing priorities; and

· Demonstrated skill in handling sensitive and confidential matters

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
