Job Description

Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Leader is the responsible individual for leadership and coordination of daily priorities related to the Quality Control Inspectors. This role oversees personnel assigned to Quality Control Inbound and Outbound Inspection. This role is also part of the team for performing incoming and final inspections of engine material and the required documentation per Chromalloy and customer’s requirements. This position requires excellent organization and interpersonal skills, in addition to the ability to successfully communicate complex technical information to others.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversees work performance.
  • Assigns daily work tasks to Material Handlers
  • Perform Incoming and Final inspection of CMS material.
  • Perform to the established procedures Shipping and Receiving.
  • Inspect material that is requested for stock checks
  • Comply with all regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Cross-train to become proficient at other tasks associated with the department.
  • Ensure the proper utilization of the ERP and QMS Systems.
  • Train other individuals in the company on how to perform job functions
  • Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
  • Ensures compliance with company IPM, Chromalloy Material Solution, QSM and ASA-100 requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A&P preferred/related degree or 3 years work experience in Quality Control
  • Knowledge of FAA AC 0056 and ASA-100 Standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • 2 years of past leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work in a diverse team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work independently to meet individual and group objectives
  •  2 years Quantum system experience
