Job Description

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ensure compliance with Company RSM/QCM.  Must be aware of ISO/AS9100 quality requirements;
  • Create detailed production schedules for a specific product line;
  • Ensure bill of material (BOM) items are ordered and monitored to ensure on-time delivery;
  • Prioritize orders based on customer due date requirements and process capacity;
  • Analyze, monitor product line capacity and make recommendations on expansion/efficiency to ensure adequate capacity to support workload;
  • Provide timely feedback to customer service delivery dates changes;
  • Work with the supervisors on production goals daily;
  • Attend daily production meeting listing requirements for all shifts
  • Monitor/report on WIP status;
  • Estimate ship & production quantities by product type each month, monitor and report on progress;
  • Material Expedite as needed and OSP (outside processing) Management;
  • Maintain and promote “One Chromalloy” Core Values
  • Maintain and promote 5S standards in the work area;
  • Adhere to and promote Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties;
  • Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards;

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years planning & scheduling experience along with a minimum of 7 years working in a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong analytical, computer and Microsoft Office skills;
  • Familiarity with system usage history (MRP's/ERP's);
  • APICS Certification is Preferred, or the willingness to obtain within the first year of employment;
  • Ability to complete/resolve complex tasks with little supervision;
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention for detail;

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Associates degree in supply chain/business or planning preferred;
