Job Description

**Position Summary**

Ready to make a real difference? You'll take the lead in organizing, directing, and implementing resident care that meets our high standards and all State and Federal requirements. This is where your skills directly impact lives!

**Essential Duties**

  • Join the team at Resident Care conferences and keep Resident Care Plans sharp, accurate, and always relevant.
  • Master medication management—prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders, and stay on top of ordering and replacing expired medications.
  • Keep everyone in the loop by documenting patient care issues and reporting them to the right people, right away.
  • Trust your instincts! Spot signs and symptoms, use your judgment, and take action with appropriate treatment or procedures.
  • Lead with confidence—you'll mentor and guide ancillary personnel to deliver excellent care.
  • Bring your A-game to other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license, in good standing.
  • 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
  • 1-year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
  • IV Certification preferred.
  • Must have computer word processing and database experience.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Moderate physical effort required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Possible exposure to chemicals, blood borne pathogens and other infectious diseases.
  • Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.

$30.20-$39.45
