Position Summary

Ready to be a superhero in scrubs? As our PRN QMAP, you'll swoop in to save the day (or night) by ensuring our residents receive top-notch care with a smile. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to anticipate needs, report concerns, and become the master of medication management. Remember: with great power comes great responsibility... and a whole lot of fun!

• Be a personal care ninja, attending to residents' needs faster than you can say "ADL"!
• Transform into a grooming guru, helping residents look their best from head to toe.
• Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes to spot and report any resident care needs.
• Become a family whisperer, responding to their needs with charm and grace.
• Play telephone operator, keeping the lines of communication open with your team.
• Don your safety cape and keep a watchful eye on residents' well-being.
• Be a superhero sidekick to the RN/LPN, alerting them to any medication mysteries.
• Embrace your inner neat freak and keep those medication carts stocked and sparkling.
• Transform into a documentation dynamo, ensuring every detail is captured.
• Join the monthly gathering of the care squad, sharing your wisdom and wit.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• High school or Equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
• Proficient computer skills preferred
• Strong self-management and organization skills
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
• May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
• Possible exposure to household chemicals.
• Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
• May be subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
