Position Summary

Ready to join our clean team? We're looking for a housekeeping hero who's ready to tackle both tidying and laundry duties with a smile! While you might typically focus on one area, we need someone who's pumped to switch between tasks faster than you can say "squeaky clean." Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to ensure our residents' apartments and common areas sparkle like diamonds. You'll also be the wizard behind the curtain (or should we say, washing machine?) responsible for keeping linens, drapes, and residents' clothes fresh and fabulous.

Your Exciting Duties (Should You Dare to Accept)

• Become the dust's worst enemy! Polish furniture, picture frames, and mirrors until they shine brighter than a disco ball.
• Transform bathrooms into sparkling oases using your magical cleaning powers and top-secret disinfecting techniques.
• Channel your inner superhero and rescue floors from dirt and grime with your trusty mop and vacuum sidekicks.
• Keep our paper products and soap dispensers so well-stocked, they'll be the talk of the town!
• Lead the charge against trash, ensuring it never overstays its welcome.
• Bring your A-game to common areas, nursing stations, and utility rooms – no corner left behind!
• Embrace the occasional "mission impossible" cleaning assignment with gusto.
• Become the master of the laundry universe, ensuring our washing machines are always living their best lives.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold with the precision of an origami expert and the speed of a tornado.
• Play Santa all year round by delivering freshly cleaned personal items to our delighted residents.
• Be ready for any wild and wacky tasks that come your way – variety is the spice of life!

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• 3 –6 months experience in housekeeping and/or laundry procedures, preferably in a medical facility preferred.
• Ability to complete tasks from a checklist operation schedule.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate to heavy physical activity required by exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 45 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 22 pounds of force constantly.
• Constant standing, walking, and grasping.  Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
• Frequent exposure to chemicals.
• May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
