Position Summary

Ready to be the captain of an amazing assisted living and memory support community? As our Executive Director, you'll be the maestro conducting a symphony of exceptional care and vibrant living! You'll lead, direct, and sprinkle your magic touch on all operations, ensuring our residents live their best lives. Get ready to dive into a world of regulations, policies, and procedures – it's like solving a thrilling puzzle every day! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create an oasis of quality living for our wonderful residents.

Essential Duties (A.K.A. Your Daily Adventures!)

  • Become the ultimate example of positive leadership!  Coordinate departments, supervise managers, and transform your team into a dazzling ensemble of care superstars. Your secret weapons? Team building, motivation, and a dash of mentoring magic!
  • Partner up with our Director of Sales and Marketing to become the dynamic duo of occupancy goals. Use your market-savvy superpowers to read economic tea leaves and craft strategies that'll have residents lining up at our doors!
  • Don your detective hat and sleuth out the best vendor deals in town. Review bids, recommend contracts, and approve invoices like a pro – it's like playing Monopoly, but way more fun!
  • Be the idea factory! Cook up new programs and give existing ones a zesty makeover. Set the gold standard for service and watch your team knock it out of the park every single day.
  • Transform the community into a learning wonderland! Because who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? (Not that we're calling anyone old!)
  • Channel your inner math wizard to conjure up an achievable annual budget. Keep those numbers dancing to the tune of success!
  • Team up with the Business Office Manager to wrangle those accounts receivable. Think of it as herding cats, but with dollar signs!
  • Be the guardian of rules and regs – like a superhero, but with more paperwork and fewer capes.
  • Put on your inspector gadget hat and regularly tour the grounds. Keep everything ship-shape, safe, and so attractive it could win a beauty pageant!
  • Become the community's social butterfly! Build relationships with residents, families, vendors, and community groups. It's like hosting the world's longest, most awesome cocktail party!
  • Report to the Regional Director of Operations for Christian Living Communities – think of it as your weekly episode of "Executive Director's Got Talent"!
  • Be ready for surprise missions – because in this role, every day is an adventure!

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Holds state specific licensure to operate and manage an Assisted Living and Memory Support.
  • 3-5 years experience in a leadership position in a field of service related to service to people and/or administration.
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
  • Must demonstrate excellent problem solving abilities.
  • Experience in personnel management, relationship sales, strategic and operational planning required.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant technology applicable for the position.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English).

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with donors, families, volunteers, residents and numerous other staff members.
