Position Summary

Responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating all sales, leasing and admission processes related to the Community’s diverse levels of living, including entrance fee/lifeplan, market rate rental, HUD, assisted living, memory support, post-acute, long-term care, and adult day needs.  Develops and implements sales strategies to meet defined move-in objectives and sales goals.  In addition, is responsible for ensuring a cohesive Community sales team. Successfully executes the marketing plan set forth to close out sales for community. This position may be expected to oversee sales functions such as entry fee sales or provide special expertise and intervention to levels of service that are census challenged.  Responsible for the supervision of direct reports as identified in the Sales structure of each community.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for Community-wide budgeted Census Goals for all levels of service.
  • Responsible for meeting established individual and team goals for outbound calls, tours, deposits, move-ins and outreach visits.
  • Oversees records of prospective residents, including applications, contracts, financial reports, lead tracking and sales reports as appropriate for each level of care.
  • Trains and supports Community Sales Team.
  • Monitors and manages the budget of the department.
  • Oversees customer contact documentation for each prospect.  Oversees process of qualifying each prospect for level of interest and urgency.  Assesses client eligibility with regard to physical (where applicable), financial and social criteria.
  • Develops, schedules and implements Sales Events at the Community.  May be asked to deliver outreach presentations and special events.
  • Creates and implements the annual community sales plan which includes market analysis, competitors' data and annual strategies to achieve Census Goals.  Directs changes in strategies in response to market conditions as appropriate.
  • Oversees advertising and collateral.
  • Strategizes and collaborates with peers in other CLC communities to achieve Organizational goals relating to the department.
  • Oversees visual and oral sales presentations.  Develops, schedules, implements and evaluates the outreach presentations and special events.
  • In compliance with the Company’s policies, is responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing, supervising and following the Company’s performance management policy with direct reporting associates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High School diploma required.
  • 3- 5 years’ experience with sales and leasing; ideally in a senior services.
  • Proven sales, leasing, promotion or public relations required.
  • Proven expertise in relationship sales required. Senior housing sales experience desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access and Excel
  • Experience in Contact Management databases
  • Knowledgeable with Social Media
  • Proven ability to manage associates according to Company’s policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of managing a budget.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills. 

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
